When the original oil skimmer can not carry out the tramp oil soon, the oil was pumped again to hot tools and work-piece. Then the attributes of the tramp oil changes worse and the viscosity becomes higher. Another reason of this condition is due to the heat treatment of the work-piece. There are antirust oil applied on the surface and this anti-rust oil mixes with coolant and tramp oil after cutting.
It becomes so sticky that the tramp oil can not flow and leave the mesh after touching. It looks like glue to adhere on mesh. No matter how the skimmer rotate, it can not remove the tramp oil. But other skimmer in disk, belt, pneumatic or other methods had poorer result.
After SK-5 with heater attached aside, the tramp oil was melt into higher temperature and lower viscosity. It can start to flow and leave mesh from channel. In a period of running, the sticky tramp oil was carried out and the tank returned back normal condition.
因為油的黏性已高到無法自鐵網流落, 所以SK-5用加熱的方式降低黏度使其流出.
